"Joking" is a camouflage we drape around a seriously intentional opinion.
Around the parliamentary chamber of our mind every minister and backbencher says what he or she means, and means what he or she says. But if they don't want to take responsibility for the words that come out of their mouths, they will throw a cover of "I was only joking" over it. It is pure political spin to avoid being accountable.
I'm not joking......
I love jokes of all kinds, from fart gags (pun intended) and sight gags to bitingly clever satire. God knows we can all use a good laugh about now.
Just joke responsibly. What you say is what you mean. Which part of you means it? That's up to you to find out.
