ATTUNEMENT

Only love
Can rescue us
From the remoteness and lostness
Of a partial spirituality.

Love is Attunement -- At-One-ment.

For as long as we maintain the illusion
Of a self that is separate,
Separated from itself
And from "other" selves,
There will be no blending and interfusing of energies
Into whole-er healing
And uplifting empowering.

But fear not.
That which we call "death" will re-unite us
(But not quite as we imagined in Sunday School).
In the meantime,
The illusion of separation allows us
To dance naked through a Hall of Mirrors
And get the shock of our lives
When we realise who we're really seeing!
