I read somewhere a few years ago
That the incidence of all cancers amongst diagnosed schizophrenics
Is 25% the incidence in the general population.
Now if that's true, it's one helluva a discrepancy.
True or not, it got me thinking,
[No, not to avoid cancer by working up my schizophrenic potential]
But what if........
Psychiatric therapies, medicines and drugs slow up or block
What is a profoundly creative transforming process?
If that were so such therapies, while curing us,
May be crippling us
In our growth into consciousness.
I'm sure this isn't the whole story,
But it's worth standing in the question --
Can the cure kill?
If so,
If were faced with a choice,
Would I prefer to be cured, or healed?
I know my answer.
