Alarm bells go off when I hear phrases like:-
Everyone agrees................
We all know...................
It's obvious to everyone that..........
Flat-earth generalising is lazy non-thinking --
A facade of words.
Dis-spell them.
(PS. My favourite is exemplified by "The burgers are better at............."
Nobody will tell me "Better than what?"
