(Look at what those bad bastards did to me!!)
What are you telling yourself
That enables you to justify somebody else paying for your suffering?
Do you think you're entitled to live your life without suffering?
Who told you that?
Do you want to be saved from your discomforts?
Come on, be honest, at least with yourself.
Now,
What are you telling yourself about pain and discomfort?
Who told you that?
And who have you appointed to do the job of saving you?
Oh, yes; you have appointed somebody to notice your suffering
(And even if that person has died, you don't let up.)
Have you discussed the responsibility for saving you with them?
Have they agreed to take you on?
If they have, you're in deep do-do's.
Even Jesus Christ said "Heal yourselves!"
Look around you,
Nobody gets a free lunch.
Grow up.
Pain and suffering are the price of growing
And the stuff of Wisdom --
For everybody.
Who told you you're somehow "a special exemption"?
There is no "savings plan" for suffering:
You don't need "saving" --
If you want to be "safe" from suffering,
The trick is not to suffer over your suffering.
Got it?
