UNIVERSAL SEX

The whole of Existence-creating has a sex-like quality --

Giving/Receiving,
Sowing/Bringing forth,
Ideas/Visions
Thoughts/Feelings,
Feeling/Actions
Male/Female....

All at one and the same time.

The whole of creation is pure SEX.
We've simply taken one aspect
Of the universal creative interaction,
And called that "sex".

Which prompts a question --
Why would anyone choose to promote guilt
(If it feels good -- don't!)
Around a universal process that got you here,
And that you're part-icipating in right now,
No matter how guilty you feel about it?

I'm a product of that guilt philosophy,
And it took me a very long time to get over it.
My parents, like many of their generation,
Had sex only to produce a planned-for child.
But my father, at least, must have got a bit excited about it,
Otherwise I wouldn't be here.
I was brought up in a condition
Where some inescapable things may be incurably pleasurable,
(A pseudonym for "Sinful"),
So woe betide you if you enjoy them!
If it feels good, it ain't Godly!
Who in hell made that one up?
And what else did they screw around with
While they had everyone's attention?

No wonder so many of us stumbled into adulthood with problems around
Giving and receiving,
Sowing and reaping,
Thinking originally and feeling authentically,
And acting creatively.

Let's hear it for the joyous knees-up
That is Existence!
