What Is: Four Questions That Can Change Your Life
“Whatever
you have lived up to this point of your life is what it has taken for
you to now find your freedom." Nothing's been wasted. Nothing went
wrong. The opposites of freedom you have experienced are states of
Mind. Time to get out of your locked-up mind. Freedom is a context; a
way of being, that gives a deep “Yes” to what ever comes next.
Up
until now we've had a limited view that we couldn't see. No-one can
see their point of view while they're on it because
that is where we are viewing from. That's why we're given the gift of
others, to show us what we can't see of ourselves, by ourselves.
A
wise friend may point out to you a position that's limiting your
freedom, but in order to see for yourself, you must first get that your point of view
exists; secondly that you're stuck on it, and thirdly find a way to
look at it from another viewpoint.
Then move around and find other viewpoints to see from for a while, then move on.....
There
are a lot of things we may have no choice about (and we could also be
wrong about that, too), but we will never truly know what they are until we
chose to unconditionally embrace the inevitable. Even when
there's no choice, we have an infinite
power to choose what is; all it needs is Willingness to say “Yes”
to what we've formerly deemed unacceptable. That's where our ego righteously jacks up -- "NO WAY!!!!"
If you obey your ego at this point, you remain a victim. In fact every time you obey the dictates of your ego, you're a victim -- of your own creating!!!!
Freedom
is finally discovered in the absence of choice and in the exercise of
our ability in every circumstance to choose, especially when it means
deliberately and wilfully choosing the only option open to us. It's the choosing of the only option available that gives us power in the matter.
I have no choice but to choose.......
I have no choice but to choose.......
How's
that for irony?

the Choice – Heather Frahn (A) – 4:09]
